The game offers the similar gameplay to Grand Theft Auto Series. It is set in the post-apocalyptic world and focuses on vehicular combat. You must destroy other cars to earn points in Destructive Derby. It has four different modes such as Wrecking Racing, Destruction Derby, Stock Car Racing, and Time Trail. The game uses simulated physics which damage the radiator of the car when collide and stop running. There are three different vehicles, and you’ve to select one of them to start your race. The game uses both First and Third-person perspectives and takes you with destroying and racing cars to score the highest points. The races that are unlocked in Story Mode may be accessed quickly through the Arcade Menu.Destruction Derby revolves around Racing, and Vehicular elements and supports both Single and Multiplayer modes developed by Reflections Interactive. Mode and an Arcade Menu, both of which allow the player to compete head-to-head against one another. Some examples of these include an obstacle course or a military training event. These points can be redeemed for additional content, such as additional boost abilities, new racers (10 in total), new environments, and minigames.
During the course of playing through the Story Mode, the player will earn bonus points. In the Story Mode, in addition to the five Piston Cup Races and extra minigames, there are over twenty different Road Races for players to compete in. You are free to travel the world, interact with other characters, and accept race challenges in order to progress the plot. The plot centered on Lightning McQueen, a rookie race car driver with aspirations of making it big in the racing world and taking part in the Piston Cup, which is the fictional version of NASCAR competitions. The game features an open-world design with a mission-based gameplay format, and it lets players explore the town of Radiator Springs and the locations surrounding it. The video game Cars is a racing simulation based on a movie of the same name.
